WANTED: Models

A&L Photographix are sending the call out for models.  Thats right, we want models.

We are after babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and young school age children for a series of concept shoots to be used for promotional use by A&L Photographix (all images will have our water mark over them to protect the image and safety of our clients and their families).
These Concept Shoots will be "Cake Smash" and "Bubblelish" photo shoots to demonstrate the type of work we do and the quality of our photography.

We are also after older children, pre-teens, teenagers and adults if they wish to be involved in a couple of "Paint Splash" Concept Shoots to be used for promotional purposes by A&L Photographix. Again all images used will have our water mark on to prevent the images being copied our altered.


Cake Smash photo shoots will involve the participants being photographed throughout the process of "smashing" a cake (we will source our cakes from woolworths and will be premade sponge cakes that are decorated).

Bubblelish photo shoots will involve the children playing with bubbles, from various sources, and photos being taken of them. Some bubbles will be generated by a bubble making machine, others will be made by either the children or their parents blowing the bubbles. Parents and older siblings may also be involved in these ones if desired.

Paint Splash photo shoots will involve the participants throwing paint filled ballons at each other, or flicking paint at each other using bottles, spoons, brushes etc. The paint will be home made out of flour, water and food colouring. For these ones we ask that participants wear clothes that will be okay to get stained just incase the food colouring does not come out. We also ask that the paint is kept to below shoulder height to prevent it getting in eyes, hair or mouths.


Participants of these Concept shoots will be compensated with a disc of 10-20 photos (depending on how many photos are taken during the shoot) and an Collage Poster (27.5*35 cms) with upto 15 photos on with a total value of $20.00, FREE.

Participants may purchase additional prints from their shoot at a discounted price.*

Name of Parent/ Legal Guardian (under 18 years requires parental consent)
Concept shoot that you wish to participate in
Best days of week for shoot and either AM or PM (all shoots will be scheduled between 9AM and 5PM).





Please send emails to us by Feburary 10 2012, Shoots will be scheduled on the  24-26 Feburary and 6-9 March 2012.

Win a 20% off Photography Package

Well by now I trust that you all have seen that we have added the "Fan of the Week" App on our Facebook page. This has been on for about three months now and we are regularly getting our Likers picked as a Fan of the Week.

So we have decided that to recognise those that are randomly chosen as our Fan of the Week (the app randomly chooses a Fan based on interaction with our page) we are going to turn it into an ongoing competition.

As per Facebook rules, we can not run a competition directly through the Facebook page, so it will be run through our Blog.


The Competition

Win a 20% off Photography Package by being chosen as our "Fan of the Week" on Facebook the most times in TWO (2) months.

If the Facebook app "Fan of the Week" selects you as our Fan of the Week the most times in a Two (2) month period, we will give you a 10% off voucher to be used towards the purchase of a Photography Package with A&L Photographix.

Competition periods will be as follows: February 1 to March 31; April 1 to May 31; June 1 to July 31; August 1 to September 30; October 1 to November 30; December 1 to January 31.

Vouchers are to be used with in Twelve (12) months from date of issue.

Winners will be announced via our blog and on Facebook the week proceeding the end of each Competition period.
Winners are to contact A&L Photographix via email with in Fourteen (14) days of being announced as our winner or they forfeit their Voucher to the next Competition period winner.
